Rye Lions Support the Bushfire Appeal in a BIG way.

Boat Raffle drawn on the 26th January 2020 and the winning ticket was number 12890 which was purchased in Sorrento on the 15th december 2019. The lucky winner was G.Costa and they have been notified of their win.

The Lions Club of Rye would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support of our major fundraising event and we hope to see you again next year when it will all happen again.

On the weekend of the 4th and 5th of January 2020  the Rye Lions decided to donate the total takings from ticket sales in their annual boat raffle to the bushfire relief effort.

The public support of thisinitiative was fantastic and the Lions managed to raise a shadeover $21,000.00 which will be distributed through our Australian Lions Foundation who will be managing the distribution of  quite a large portion of Lions Clubs fundraising regarding the January bushfires.

The Lions Club of Rye would like to acknowledge the wonderful support shown by those who supported us over these two days,

A great result and thank you to all.
